Jessica Taylor was a successful businesswoman in Toronto. The trajectory of Jessica’s life changed forever in l969, as a result of a tragic accident, wherein she sustained a severe brain injury. Her personal journey post-injury has been a long process of change. Jessica will inspire you as she highlights segments of her story as to how she embraced change by charting her own rehabilitation program, as she summoned mind, body and spirit to meet this challenge with humility and dignity. She will share with you a brief overview of her current work campaigning for individuals with brain injury, whom she refers to as "the forgotten ones", in her capacity as President of New Beginnings Foundation.

Jessica Taylor was born in Listowel, Co. Kerry, Ireland. She owned an operated a Merle Norman Cosmetic business in Toronto, until her tragic accident in l969, which resulted in a severe brain injury that took years for her to overcome. However, against all odds she did. She now presents seminars and is affiliated with many head injury support groups around the World.
Jessica has had extensive radio, print and TV media coverage. In addition, she has attracted the support of many high-profile notables like Vanessa Redgrave, the Duchess of York, and Mary Robinson, a former President of Ireland. Her current work includes campaigning for individuals with an acquired brain injury. She is also writing a Dissertation on Theology and it's connection with the Paranormal.
